The Journey Continues (Hoody)
We're all on different journeys, but each and every day, we have the opportunity to move forward and ascend to new heights. Different chapters of our lives will present us with different challenges. Some seasons will demand us to CLIMB the mountain & ascend, others, will require us to pause, reflect, perhaps even 'rest', and descend from the mountain. This is an opportunity to 'learn the lessons' from the previous challenge (climb), and be better prepared for the next chapter of your life. (The same way mother nature has different seasons, for different reasons, we must approach our life with this reality. The same way we periodize our training & nutrition- we must periodize our lives)
This graphic on the back is very specific to my personal story, my wife & I's difficult & long journey to becoming parents, & my bodybuilding contest preps.
Mountain 1 - climbing it solo, walking my own path.
Mountain 2 - climbing the next challenge with my wife by my side
Mountain 3 - the rain was pouring on my wife, my dog, and I - we experienced three miscarriages, and this was the hardest thing we've ever had to naviagte
Mountain 4: after the storm, the sun came through, and our beautiful rainbow baby was born. We got through that rough chapter, and God blessed us with our greatest gift ever - my wife is carrying our baby boy in the graphic on mountain 4.
We will continue to face challenges, but we will remember, we have gotten through every hard day in the past, and we can continue to do so in the future as well.
